Sean «Diddy» Combs is reportedly returning to solitary confinement at FCI Fort Dix, where he is serving his sentence. According to TMZ, this decision was made after information surfaced that the 56-year-old rapper was living a lavish lifestyle at the low-security facility in southern New Jersey.
According to NBC News, Diddy spends thousands of dollars a month to maintain comfortable conditions in prison, including hiring chefs and cleaners. It is also reported that his bed is made for him, his clothes are laundered, and he receives Chinese-style massages. Additionally, Diddy is allegedly using contraband mobile phones to access Instagram and receive explicit photos from his ex-girlfriend.
However, a representative for Diddy denied details of his prison life, including rumors of a secret stash of expensive alcohol. He told NBC News that «the constant scrutiny of every detail of Sean Combs' life in prison has reached a point where the media is characterizing ordinary conditions as news». The representative added that the only real news is that Diddy continues to serve his sentence while awaiting a court decision on his appeal.
A representative from the Bureau of Prisons also noted that the agency does not comment on the conditions of inmates for reasons of privacy, security, and protection. At the same time, he confirmed that contraband, especially mobile phones, drugs, and weapons, remains a persistent problem, and the agency continues to combat its presence in facilities.
