Sid Wilson and Kelly Osbourne: from friendship to love and family

Sid Wilson is known for his heavy music, but his relationship with fiancée Kelly Osbourne has been in the spotlight in recent years. The couple announced in 2022 that they were dating, after developing a friendship over the course of decades. Now, as they have become parents, the engaged couple plans to marry in the future.
Earlier, Kelly opened up about the «biggest fight» she had with Sid over their son.
«The biggest fight I ever had with the father of my child was over the choice of name for our son», - she told her parents, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, in a 2024 episode of the «Osbornes» podcast. «I wanted our son to have both of our last names, but he wouldn’t let me, and we had a huge fight. I felt like I was forced to do something I didn’t want to do».
However, Kelly clarified that she «loves» Sid’s name. «Don't get me wrong. I love my son’s name. He’s Sid», - she admitted. «I don’t mind that his name is Sid. I don’t mind that they have the same middle name».
The former Fashion Police host explained why she still wants to change their son’s name.
«We both created our child, so he should have both of our last names», - she added. «Neither is more important than the other… It was more about pleasing his family than pleasing me, and I’m his partner».

Originally from Iowa, he has been a DJ for many years, performing under the pseudonym DJ Starscream solo. In Japan, he gained popularity as a jungle musician, previously signing a contract to work with N2O Records.
The DJ Sid’s «Starscream» name was inspired by his love for the Transformers franchise, as one of the characters has the same name. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Sid performed as a DJ in the central states.
In addition to DJing, Sid also performs with the heavy metal band Slipknot. He joined the band in 1998 and remains with them to this day. Initially, he joined as a DJ, but also handled keyboards for the musical group.
Like his Slipknot bandmates, Sid performed in a gas mask. However, he decided to change his image over the years, playing on stage in different masks — from gas masks to skull-shaped ones.
In 1999, Sid and Kelly met at the Ozzfest festival (an annual music festival founded by Sharon and Ozzy), when she was 15 years old. They became friends and maintained a strong friendship in the following decades. However, by 2022, their relationship had changed from platonic to romantic, as they confirmed they were dating at the time.
