Sidney Sweeney has never been happier to return to her role as «crazy Cassie» in the third season of the series «Euphoria». In this dramatic series from 2019, which also stars Zendaya, Maude Apatow, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, and others, it was announced earlier this year on Instagram that filming will begin in January 2025.

Filming will start soon, and the 26-year-old actress is looking forward to returning to her character, who started dating Nate Jacobs (Elordi), the ex-boyfriend of Maddy (Demie) and the former object of attention of Cassie’s best friend. The season ended with Cassie having a nervous breakdown on stage, interrupting her sister Lexi’s (Apatow) play.
In an interview with People, Sidney shared: «I am very excited to return to Cassie. She is definitely one of the most special characters for me, and I love my Euphoria family, so I am looking forward to it». She also noted that she is excited about her character’s descent into madness: «The crazier, the better for me».
Although filming has not yet started, Sidney admitted in the interview that she «knows nothing about it». After the second season was released in January 2022, almost three years will pass before they start filming a new season. This is not new for actors; as Sidney explained in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, «We had a lot of time between the first and second seasons, but especially now, with the time gap, it’s a new process for me. I’m just learning as I go and open to everything that can happen».
