Sylvester Stallone and other actors comment on deaths in «Tulsa King»

In the premiere of the fourth season of the series «Tulsa King», - which took place on October 16, an unexpected event occurred — several main characters were killed. In the episode, Margaret (Dana Delany) and Treser (Neil McDonough) are traveling on the same plane when problems arise that no one can solve, as all the passengers are asleep. Dwight (Sylvester Stallone) wakes up to the news that the couple did not survive the plane crash.

Garrett Hedlund and Frank Grillo discussed what this shocking conclusion might mean for the future development of the plot. Grillo noted that without Stallone, the show «Tulsa King» would not exist, emphasizing that all other characters are replaceable. Hedlund, for his part, expressed surprise at such a turn of events, noting that showrunner Terence Winter always knows how to create drama and tension in the scripts.

Hedlund also shared that his character Mitch will continue to fight against opposing forces trying to destroy everything they have built, including the bar, casino, and car dealership. He added that Mitch will act boldly, with a touch of wisdom and humor.

Before the premiere, McDonough spoke about how the show would surprise viewers, and his wife Ruve added that «Tulsa King» is full of uncertainty, and viewers cannot predict where the characters are headed. The series airs on Fridays on Paramount+.
