Sylvester Stallone, in an interview with Extra, spoke about the fourth season of the series Tulsa King and working with his daughter, Scarlett Stallone. He noted that in the new season, his character Dwight Manfredi will face three levels of adversaries: gangsters from New York, local geniuses in artificial intelligence, and a madman who is pursuing him.
Stallone shared that in their collaboration with his daughter, they infused elements of their father-daughter dynamic into the series. He also hinted at the development of Scarlett’s character, who will transition from a barista to something entirely different this season, adding that in the fifth season, which will begin filming in two weeks, viewers can expect a lot of exciting content.
The actor also announced that he will appear in the new spinoff Frisco King alongside Samuel L. Jackson, promising that he will «pop in» for several episodes. Additionally, he shared his thoughts on the upcoming biographical drama I’m Playing Rocky, noting that it feels like a kind of déjà vu for him, as the film coincides with the 50th anniversary of Rocky.
Stallone reminisced about working with Dolly Parton on the film Rhinestone, mentioning that she was always a source of laughter on set. He described Parton as «one in eight billion» and «the most amazing person in the world».
The new season of Tulsa King will premiere on October 16 on Paramount+.
