Sylvester Stallone, in a rare comment about his relationship with his wife Jennifer Flavin, noted that she «saved his life». In an interview with CBS News on September 27, he said, «What have I learned from her? That I will never be as good as she is. She is just magnificent, she kept me alive».
Stallone and Flavin met in 1988 and dated for six years before separating. In 1997, the couple reunited and got married. In August 2022, Flavin filed for divorce, but two months later they reconciled, and the legal documents were annulled. They have three daughters: Sophia Rose (30), Sistine Rose (28), and Scarlet Rose (24). Stallone also has sons Seargeoh (44) and Sage from his first marriage to actress Sasha Czack. Sage passed away in 2012 from heart disease at the age of 36.
In an interview with The New York Times on September 26, Stallone admitted that he was not a good parent and noted that his wife is «the greatest woman». He added that he did not have the ability to fully dedicate himself to others as Flavin does, who raised their daughters.
Flavin spoke last year about the challenges in their marriage, noting that «there is no perfect marriage». She emphasized that relationships have both good and bad days and urged patience with one another.
