As a GOAT, Simone Biles deserves a party — and luckily, she got one! The 27-year-old gymnast finished her third Olympic Games, partying all night at the L’Arc Paris nightclub in Paris before heading home. Simone even joked with fans that the late night was the «reason» for her «illness», - as seen in her Instagram Stories from Monday, August 12.
In one video from her Stories, Simone showed an epic event where several participants danced under golden confetti, while one held a sign that read «Gymnastics legend Simone Biles @ L’Arc Paris». Others held sparklers, and a photographer made sure to capture the action.
As seen in the subsequent clip, Simone and her sister Adria Biles had a blast. Throughout the story, the athlete wrote: «If you see me in the club, please tell me to go home for my own good and health in the morning».
After landing in the USA, Simone shared several photos from the US, including one from the plane and another of the sunset. The last photo apparently was taken at her home, as the story was captioned «Home».
Simone’s return at this year’s Olympic Games ended on a high note. She won a gold medal with Team USA, gold in the vault, gold in the women’s all-around final, and silver on the floor. Now she is the most decorated gymnast in history.
After earning her last medal, Simone spoke about a possible return to the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. Although she joked that she will be «very old», - she noted: «The next Olympics will be in our home, so you never know».
Although the competition ended earlier this month for her, Simone was asked to pass the official Olympic flag to actor Tom Cruise during the closing ceremony last weekend alongside Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass. For Simone, it was a «huge honor», - as she admired in an Instagram post.
«I haven’t found the right words to describe my Olympic experience, it was a whirlwind», - she wrote next to photos from the closing ceremony. «But I know I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to represent the United States».
Tom, 62, commented on Simone’s post, calling her «mastery» a unique skill.
«Simone, it was an absolute honor to receive the Olympic flag from you this weekend», - wrote the «Mission Impossible» star under her post. «Watching your dedication to your craft over the past few weeks has been a real pleasure!»
