Will Smith has been sued by Brian King Joseph for sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation. Joseph, a violinist and former contestant on «America's Got Talent», - filed the lawsuit against the «Fresh Prince of Bel-Air» star at the end of December 2025, and the public is now interested in the details of his allegations.

The lawsuit was filed in the California Superior Court, Los Angeles County, on December 30, 2025. It claims that Smith «intentionally groomed and set up Mr. Joseph for further sexual exploitation» after inviting the musician on his world tour «Based on True Events». Joseph alleges that in March 2025, he witnessed a «traumatic series of events», - including the discovery of evidence of a «sexual threat of violence» in his hotel room in Las Vegas, with no signs of forced entry. According to Joseph, he found a note that read: «Brian, I’ll be back… just us», - signed «Stone F», - as well as «napkins, a beer bottle, a red backpack, a bottle of HIV medication with another person’s name on it, an earring, and discharge papers from a hospital belonging to someone he did not know».

Smith’s attorney called the lawsuit «false» and «reckless».

As seen on his Instagram page, Joseph is a talented violinist. He shares videos of himself playing various versions of well-known songs and has performed on stage at various award ceremonies.

Joseph participated in the 13th season of «America's Got Talent», - finishing in third place in 2018.

At the end of December 2025, Joseph filed a lawsuit against Smith and his company, Treyball Studios Management, Inc., for sexual harassment, alleging wrongful termination and retaliation.

According to his complaint filed in the California Superior Court, Los Angeles County, Joseph accuses Smith and his company of firing him after he reported sexual harassment. Joseph claims that in March 2025, during Smith’s world tour, he discovered that someone had been in his hotel room in Las Vegas, with evidence of a «sexual threat of violence» and a handwritten note that read: «Brian, I’ll be back… just us», - with a heart and signed «Stone F».

Joseph also points out in his lawsuit that in the hotel room he found «napkins, a beer bottle, a red backpack, a bottle of HIV medication with another person’s name on it, an earring, and discharge papers from a hospital belonging to someone he did not know».

The musician’s lawsuit notes that he «feared that an unknown person would soon return to his room to engage in sexual acts». Furthermore, Joseph claims that one of the tour members «condemned» him for reporting the incidents and said he was being fired.

According to his complaint, another violinist was allegedly hired to replace Joseph on the tour.

In a statement to People, Smith’s attorney called the allegations in the lawsuit «false, baseless, and reckless», - adding, «They are categorically denied, and we will use all available legal means to respond to these allegations and ensure that the truth is revealed»
