The message surfaced after Pete was appointed by Donald Trump as the next Secretary of Defense. However, due to a number of accusations and scandals, several sources have reported that Ron DeSantis may replace Pete in this position — a move that Donald has not yet publicly confirmed.
In his initial statement about Pete, Donald wrote in November: «I am honored to announce that I have appointed Pete Hegseth to my cabinet as Secretary of Defense. Pete has spent his entire life as a warrior for our troops and our country. Pete is strong, smart, and a true supporter of the principle 'America first'. Under Pete’s leadership, America’s enemies are under surveillance — our military will once again be great, and America will never retreat».
