Scandalous rap feud: Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj ignite the fire

Tensions between rappers from Texas and Trinidad began to escalate as the artists started to hint at each other in their songs over the past year.
29-year-old Megan Thee Stallion released her new album «Megan», - and the song «Rattle» clearly contains some words for her rival Nicki Minaj, 41.
Megan starts the track, rapping: «I have no secrets, this bitch thinks she’s TMZ / I mean, the sooner you accept that I’m the one, / The better your life will be».
«Damn bitch, it’s been four years / Worry about your man and your child / Your life must be boring if you’re still thinking about what we did», - Megan continues later in the song, clearly hinting at the former friendship she had with Minaj. They collaborated on the song «Hot Girl Summer» in 2019.
Although Minaj is not directly mentioned in the song, it can be confidently assumed that Megan is talking about another female rapper after Minaj released the diss track «Big Foot» in January, which was a response to Megan’s song released a week before, «Hiss».
Despite the disagreements gaining momentum again, Miss Stallion spent time reflecting on her life and taking steps «to be in a comfortable position» with herself.
«I feel like I’m in such a fresh space, like everything in me is new», - said Megan. «I feel like I’ve been through so much, and I’m at that stage where I don’t care about a lot of things… I’m like telling myself, 'Okay, girl, what could be worse?' We’ll see how this unfolds»
