Jocelyn Wildenstein, known for her «Catwoman» appearance achieved through plastic surgery, passed away at the age of 84. According to PEOPLE, her boyfriend Lloyd Klein reported that she died in her sleep on the eve of the New Year 2024, while taking a nap. Klein told the publication that she had phlebitis. «Because of the phlebitis, her legs were very, very swollen, blood was blocked, and there was no oxygen in the brain», - he said. «We napped, and when I woke up, I said, 'Jocelyn, we need to wake up, we need to get dressed,' and she was cold and dead». The Times reported that the cause of her death was a pulmonary embolism. The couple was in Paris.

He has a degree in architecture from École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs and worked as an architect in New York before turning his attention to fashion. He has his own brand, and according to the publication, his designs have been worn by celebrities including the late Natalie Nicole, Nicki Minaj, and Paula Abdul, among others.

Klein and Wildenstein met at Fashion Week in 2003, and in 2017 they announced their engagement after 14 years of dating. According to the Daily Mail, Klein proposed with a dramatic 32-carat diamond ring. The important moment took place at the Versace mansion in Miami. «It was romantic, dramatic, and wonderful», - he told the publication at the time. «I showed Jocelyn the ring, and she said 'yes!' - she was on cloud nine».

The couple never officially formalized their relationship, and Klein shared his despair at her death in comments published on January 1. «It's very sad.
