Former athlete Joe Thompson has passed away: the world of sports is deeply saddened

She continued: «It was a long struggle, and he fought with all his might, doing everything his way! He chose his path and walked it boldly and proudly, drawing closer to God every day, while still being there for so many others. He held onto his plans for the future to continue this legacy, but now it is time for him to rest and watch over us from heaven».
