Ambulance called for Carrot Top due to suspected overdose

On Friday, an emergency call was made to 911 in Las Vegas reporting that comedian Carrot Top, whose real name is Scott Thompson, was found in a state close to losing consciousness. An audio recording obtained by TMZ shows that the woman who called the service, in a panic, reported a «medical emergency», - claiming that someone «attempted to commit suicide».
The caller stated that she found Thompson by the pool after he called one of his staff members, who asked her to check on his condition. She noted that the comedian’s face was «a little blue», - and he was unresponsive. In her conversation with dispatchers, she mentioned that he was «barely» breathing, but she was reassured by seeing his stomach rise and fall.
According to TMZ, the call was made around 4:30 PM. Sources reported that Carrot Top had taken prescription medications and was believed to have suffered an overdose. The call was disconnected after emergency services arrived.
