The renowned creator of EDM hits, known for his festival anthems, has entered a completely new dimension — and fans are thrilled. Releasing his latest album Chrysalis under the deeply personal pseudonym sapientdream, Slushii (real name Julian Scanlan) is leading fans on an emotional, anime-inspired journey of self-discovery — and it’s not just through music.
He is also the creator of his own animated story, Sapient Dream, launched exclusively through WEBTOON, combining ethereal soundscapes with beautifully illustrated worlds.

Fans who attended Anime Expo 2025 got an early look during a panel on July 5, organized by WEBTOON and SONICDream. That evening, Slushii also performed a special DJ set «Operation Overload», - and the next day he held a fan meet-up at the WEBTOON booth.
