The death of Patrick Muldoon has left his former colleagues, friends, family, and fans in deep mourning. The star of «Melrose Place», - who was 57 years old, passed away from a heart attack at his home in Beverly Hills, California, on April 19, 2026. At that moment, his girlfriend, Miriam Rothbart, was by his side and called for an ambulance, but they were unable to save the actor. As everyone tried to cope with the news, several of Patrick’s former colleagues expressed their condolences, including his ex-girlfriend and longtime friend Denise Richards. The couple, who dated in the late 1990s, worked together on the film «Starship Troopers» and then again in their 2026 film «Dirty Hands».

Below are tributes to Patrick from his former colleagues and friends.

«I find it very hard to express my feelings in words», - Denise wrote in an emotional video on Instagram. «I am deeply saddened and heartbroken by the loss of you. You were my best friend and family. We met in our first acting class; I was 19, had no jobs, and you were 21, studying at USC and starring in 'Who's the Boss?'. And now, 36 years later. My entire adult life, and I don’t know how it will be without you».

She noted that their «friendship, love, support, respect, and loyalty were unconditional and rare».

«You lit up every room you entered», - Denise continued. «You were larger than life, and everyone was drawn to you. Such a talented and underrated actor. And yet the most humble. Everything you did was infectious. Your laughter, your kindness, your intellect, your strength, your dedication, your passion, and your zest for life. We were each other’s support. Our memories together are endless. You always supported and defended me more than anyone else. I don’t know what I will do without you. You were my voice of reason and my rock. Especially in this last year of pain and suffering. And now I need you more than ever to help me cope with this pain and grief from losing you. Shwita, we talked about this… We thought we would live forever or at least until 90».

At the end of her post, Denise wrote: «Shwita, I will be waiting for signs. I need to know that you are still here with me. I love you so much and miss you dearly, shwita».

In her post, Tori Spelling noted that it took her «a few days» to find the words, adding that she «wasn't ready to write because it felt too real. And it shouldn’t be real».

«@thepatrickmuldoon and I met on a blind date. Luckily, it wasn’t a blind date because we were both acting in a TV series», - Tori wrote. «Like every other girl in the world, I was in love with his character Austin from 'Days of Our Lives.' Not sure I ever told him that. But what I met and ultimately fell in love with was not only a beautiful exterior but the most beautiful soul. He was special and one of a kind. The kindest and most caring person with an amazing sense of humor. We understood each other! We laughed a lot! I laughed with him and at him, and he loved it. He was a multi-talented individual. Passionate about everything he did. And he had a gift for making others smile and bringing absolute joy to everyone lucky enough to be around him. A true gift».

Adding that they «shared a love for the Broncos, guitars, mischief, playing tag, and 'Grid!'», Tori noted that Patrick was «a huge part of her formative twenties».

«We became good friends! Still laugh and always care for each other», - she continued. «Decades later, I found that he was a true friend and support when I was going through my divorce. He would call and check on me and send the worst jokes to make me laugh. He loved it when I rolled my eyes. Now I miss those silly jokes. The last time I saw him was last summer. I finally met his soulmate @miriamrothbart. He said we would get along, and I knew right away! She was his perfect balance. He was just in his element. Found true love, acting and producing became his 'thing,' as he would say. He was on top of the world! I don’t believe in regrets, but I regret not organizing a dinner with him»
