After having his toe cut off following his wedding to Cassie (Sydney Sweeney), Nate finally meets his fate in the seventh episode when he is buried alive in Naz’s coffin. The plan was to leave him there for 72 hours, but a rattlesnake crawls into Nate’s breathing tube, killing him.
Later, Alamo (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) manages to fatally wound Naz in the seventh episode.
Elordi knew that his character’s time was short, as he told Entertainment Weekly. «When I read the script, I kind of knew this would happen», - the actor said. «Yeah, I think at some point I realized that he would have to get what was coming to him».
