After SNL50: Homecoming Concert aired on Valentine’s Day, its network, NBCUniversal, hinted at an upcoming red carpet and special event in honor of the 50th anniversary. SNL50: Anniversary Special airs on Sunday, February 16.
The event will start at 8:00 pm Eastern Time, and before the event begins, a red carpet will be shown for the famous guests.
Since NBCUniversal is the home network for SNL, its streaming platform, Peacock, will broadcast the anniversary special live. It will also be available for viewing after it airs.
The event is scheduled to last 3 hours.
The concert featured star performers, including Snoop Dogg, Jelly Roll, Brandi Carlile, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Backstreet Boys, The B-52s, Jack White, Post Malone, Nirvana, Bad Bunny, Cher, Chris Martin, Eddie Vedder, and others.
Miley performed her hit «Flowers» and even mentioned her iconic stage appearance after receiving her first Grammy award in 2024.
