The son of Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, 15-year-old Kroy «KJ» Biermann Jr., has been released from jail. According to TMZ, he left the Youth Detention Center in Georgia in recent days and is now living with his mother, who is providing him with constant care.
Earlier this month, a judge set bail for KJ at $ 200,000. After posting bail, the teenager will be required to wear an electronic bracelet and remain under house arrest. The court also prohibited other children aged 16 and younger, including his own siblings, from being in or visiting the house.
KJ will have to attend school virtually and is not allowed to use social media, a mobile phone, or contact the alleged victim and her family.
Kroy was arrested on August 17 in Alpharetta, Georgia, on charges of aggravated sexual assault and aggravated sodomy following an incident involving an unidentified minor victim in a public gym earlier this year.
In a statement following her son’s arrest, Kim Zolciak said the allegations against him are «irresponsible and deeply troubling». She emphasized that KJ categorically denies any involvement in the incident and has taken a polygraph test, the results of which confirmed his innocence.
KJ’s attorney also asserted his client’s innocence, adding that information about the case should not be made available to the public, as it involves minors.
According to information provided by Page Six, during a hearing in the case, prosecutors stated that investigators found a video on KJ’s phone showing him and an unidentified family member under 12 engaging in sexual activity. KJ’s attorney described this video as «meaningless, crude behavior», - rather than something illegal.
