Eric Adams prefers to keep his family out of the spotlight, but his recent accusation has turned his world upside down. The Mayor of New York is also a father of one child, whom he shares with his former partner. Although Eric is one of the most well-known politicians, his son has chosen a different career path.

Eric and Tracy are not married, but they have been together for many years. It is unclear when they started dating.
Eric was charged by the federal government in September 2024. According to CNN, the charges stated: «For nearly a decade, Adams sought and accepted improper valuable benefits, such as luxurious international trips, from wealthy foreign businessmen and at least one representative of the Turkish government seeking to influence him».
The mayor was formally charged with one count of conspiracy to solicit campaign contributions from foreign nationals and commit fraud and bribery, one count of fraud, two counts of soliciting campaign contributions from foreign nationals, and one count of soliciting and accepting a bribe.
However, Eric denied any wrongdoing in his statement, calling the charges «completely false» and «based on lies».
«If I am charged, I know that I am innocent», - he insisted. «I will request an immediate trial so that the residents of New York can hear the truth».
Before his charges were revealed, federal agents came to Gracie Mansion and seized Eric’s phone. His lawyer, Alex Spiro, noted that the mayor «would have gladly handed it over».
«They sent a dozen agents to take the phone when we would have gladly given it to them», - the lawyer said. «Federal agents showed up this morning at Gracie Mansion in an attempt to stage a spectacle (again) and take [Adams' phone] (again). He was not arrested, and he is looking forward to his day in court»
