Tyler Cameron can’t believe that Jerry Turner and Teresa Nist’s marriage has already ended. After three months of marriage, the «Bachelor in Paradise» couple announced that they plan to divorce.
In a new interview, 31-year-old Tyler expressed his surprise at the sudden turn of events. «Three months?! They make all my relationships seem very long», - he joked on the April 17 episode of the «Happy Hour» radio show on SiriusXM Today Show Radio. «You know what I mean? I, compared to them, am an expert in dating».
After finishing as the runner-up on Hannah Brown’s season of «The Bachelorette» in 2019, Tyler has been linked to stars such as Gigi Hadid, Paige Lorenz, and Kristin Cavallari.
From Tyler’s perspective, watching a televised wedding in January followed by a divorce doesn’t look very good.
«They put a stain on love and on Bachelor Nation, because it was the kindest… Like, it brought so much joy to 'The Bachelor,' not like, people who want to get there just for influence, it brought joy and true love», - he explained. «And then they just pulled the rug out from under us».
Appearing on Good Morning America, Jerry, 72, and Teresa, 70, told fans that they plan to divorce. The duo said that distance played a role, as Teresa is from New Jersey and Jerry lives in a lake house in Indiana.
«I still love this person», - Jerry said in an interview on April 12. «I have no doubts, I’m still in love with her. I root for her every day». Teresa added, «I still love him».
However, if you ask Tyler’s opinion, he believes that both Jerry and Teresa «don't want to change their habits».
«He doesn’t want to leave Indiana, where his family is, and she doesn’t want to leave, I think she’s from New Jersey», - he said. «Just two stubborn old folks, you know? And when you get older, you become more stubborn».
