Tyra Banks shared her regrets about her role in the film «Halloween: Resurrection», - noting that she does not have positive feelings about the project. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly published on October 2, she stated, «No, I don’t feel that way at all. Not even a little bit».
Banks revealed that she agreed to participate in the film on the recommendation of her agent, who hoped her career would develop similarly to that of actor Josh Hartnett, who starred in «Halloween: 20 Years Later». She recalled telling her agent at the time, «I'm not going to do this. What is this going to do for my career? I’m a model, and I need to do something unusual to kickstart my acting career». However, the agent insisted that participating in the film could help her.
In «Halloween: Resurrection», - Banks played a producer documenting a group of teenagers in the childhood home of the maniac Michael Myers. Although her character dies in the film, the scene of her death was not included in the final cut—only her body is shown. Banks noted, «I thought this would be significant for me. But not only did it give me nothing, they also cut the death scene». She humorously added that she was «promised a career like Josh Hartnett’s and an iconic death scene, but neither happened», - and expressed her dissatisfaction with «Halloween 8».
