Teresa Giudice and her daughter Gia visited the White House, raising questions among fans about a possible connection to Joe Giudice’s request for presidential clemency following his deportation. According to President Donald Trump’s assistant Lynn Patton, the 54-year-old reality star from «The Real Housewives of New Jersey» was in Washington at the invitation of the president and First Lady Melania Trump in honor of Columbus Day and Italian-American Heritage.

Patton noted that she has known the Giudice family for nearly two decades and shared memories of family gatherings where Joe taught her how to make meatballs, and Teresa’s father showed her how to make wine. She emphasized that she is not responsible for clemencies, as that decision is made solely by the president based on recommendations from the special counsel for clemency and the White House legal counsel.

Lynn Patton also expressed her belief in the possibility of a second chance and noted that Joe has wonderful daughters who need him. She added that her faith in God supports her conviction about the importance of family ties. Patton reported that Joe Giudice submitted a clemency request in June 2025, more than a year after his deportation in 2019.

Teresa Giudice, who divorced Joe after his release in 2019, supports his efforts to obtain clemency. In his appeal to the president, Joe wrote: «I am Joe Giudice. I served my time and was deported from the U.S. for almost a decade. I grew up in New Jersey, I am the father of four wonderful daughters, and I just want to be able to see them again».
