Terrifier 3 brings all the horrors to the scary season — possibly too much blood for some viewers. After nearly a dozen viewers left the film screening in the UK, fans are wondering when and where they can watch the film, which was directed, written, and produced by Damien Leone. Hollywood Life has gathered all the details about Terrifier 3, from the release date to the plot, below.
The official synopsis of Terrifier 3 reads: «After Sienna and her brother survived the Halloween massacre by Clown Art, they must fight to rebuild their shattered lives. As the holiday season approaches, they try to embrace the spirit of Christmas and leave the horrors of the past behind. However, just when they think they are safe, Art returns, determined to turn their holiday mood into a new nightmare».
The horror film was first shown on September 19, 2024, at the Fantastic Festival. Terrifier 3 will be released on October 11, 2024.
Audiences will be able to watch Terrifier 3 in theaters on October 11. It is unclear when and where the film will appear on the Cineverse streaming service.
Apparently, the beginning of Terrifier 3 is causing disgust. After nine people left the screening in the UK during the opening scene, Damien shared his thoughts on the event.
«Although I was in and out of the screening, I still managed to see some crazy things», - he said, referring to Bloody Disgusting. «One woman got up and left in the middle of the shower massacre. Another woman left the screening and said she had a panic attack during the scene with the children, where Art [Clown] plays the role of Santa’s shopping center».
According to LADBible, Damien warned viewers that his film would not be easy to watch.
«Mark my words, I guarantee you that the first five minutes of this film will be very controversial», - the director said, citing the publication. «But that’s not even the biggest murder scene. So I thought, 'I just need to make this film myself,' because it’s too crazy».
Speaking about the main villain of the film, Damien added: «If you thought Art the Clown’s reign of terror in the second part was extreme, you haven’t seen anything yet. But even before I had a script, just by having meetings and understanding that I would have eyes behind my back, and [studios] were concerned about the levels of bloodshed and the like.
