During an interview with ABC News 5 Cleveland, Ed revealed all about Travis’s proposal to Taylor.
«Travis proposed, probably, two weeks ago, not quite two weeks ago», - Ed said just a few hours after Taylor and Travis announced their engagement. «He was going to hold off until this week. I think she might have gotten a little nervous, but he was going to hold off until this week to do something magnificent, to make it a big special event».
So it can be assumed that Travis proposed somewhere after their joint interview on the «New Heights» podcast and the announcement of her new album.
Travis asked Taylor to marry him in the backyard of their home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, according to Ed.
