Taylor Swift or Blake Lively in the movie Deadpool & Wolverine: fans solve the mystery

In addition to the naming of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s children, fans speculate that either Taylor Swift or an actress from the show «Gossip Girl» are set to make a cameo in the upcoming Marvel movie «Deadpool and Wolverine».
Marvel Studios released a new trailer for the film on Tuesday, July 16, where viewers can clearly see a blonde woman from the neck down, walking in her red and black superhero costume. It was the hair that sparked rumors that the character could be portrayed by either the 34-year-old singer or the 36-year-old actress.
Marvel fans immediately started commenting after seeing the mysterious woman. An Instagram user commented: «Is that Blake Lively, right???»
Another noted: «Please let it be Taylor Swift as Lady Deadpool».
While fans continued to guess, others preferred to joke about it. «Am I the only one who thinks it will be Ryan Reynolds in a blonde wig for a Lady Deadpool cameo?», wrote an online user.
«Look, Lady Deadpool will just be Ryan in a bad wig», another fan wrote.
Adding fuel to the rumors, the entire cast, including Ryan, Hugh Jackman, and the film’s director Shawn Levy, were spotted together last year in 2023, cheering on the singer’s boyfriend «Lover» Travis Kelsey at his game with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The 55-year-old director playfully joked with Entertainment Tonight when asked if Taylor would appear in the film: «All that is known is that I went to a football game, and those hours were well documented, and that’s all I’ll say… What can I say? I think the intrigue is fun».
Although the singer «Blank Space» was previously rumored to play Dazzler — a character from X-Men, which is significant as some heroes from this franchise have appeared in previous Deadpool films. «It's practically not confirmed or denied in this interview… I will literally walk off the set and save myself, otherwise Ryan will put a bounty on me», he added in the interview.
