Taylor Swift made a stunning impression on the red carpet at the 6th Annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles, where she appeared in an elegant ice blue dress by Dior and 32-carat diamond earrings by Chopard. The event took place on October 17, and Swift also showcased a new curly hairstyle following a shoulder-length haircut earlier in the month.
In addition to the earrings, the singer complemented her look with an 18-carat gold ring featuring 5.78 carats of diamonds and a platinum bracelet with 5.04 carats of diamonds. All of these pieces are part of Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie collection.
The Academy Museum previously announced that Swift would be the main performer at this charity event. Museum director Amy Homma noted that Taylor is «an extraordinary talent whose work resonates around the world», - and expressed excitement about her performance, which will conclude the evening dedicated to three outstanding filmmakers.
The gala, aimed at raising funds to preserve the history of cinema, was led by Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw, as well as directors Robert Rodriguez and Tom Ford. Other committee members included Adrien Brody, Kate Hudson, Olivia Munn, and John Legend with his wife Chrissy Teigen.
This year, the Academy selected as honorary recipients horror genre pioneer John Carpenter, actor and director Colman Domingo, and Oscar winner Charlize Theron. Swift continues her collaboration with the Dior brand, having previously worn a dress by this designer at her wedding to Travis Kelce on July 3 in New York City.
