Taylor Swift celebrates her birthday with a record number of awards at the Billboard Music Awards 2024

Today Taylor Swift celebrates her birthday, but yesterday, on December 12, she had an additional reason to celebrate after winning in 10 categories at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards, bringing her total number of awards to 49 — more than any other artist in the history of the show.

Zac Bryan led the nominations this year with 18, followed by Swift with 16, Morgan Wallen with 15, and Sabrina Carpenter with nine. Among the newcomers in the nominations were Teddy Swims, Tayla, Benson Boone, Shabuzi, and Chappell Roan.
