Taylor Swift has added another title to her repertoire — godmother!
The Grammy winner, a 34-year-old singer who has been friends with Blake Lively, 36, and Ryan Reynolds, 47, for ten years, shared a sweet post on her Instagram Stories in honor of Ryan’s new movie «Deadpool vs. Wolverine», which was released on Friday, July 25.
In the post, she revealed that she is the godmother of the couple’s four children: James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and Olin, born in 2023.
«Welcome Wade Wilson, also known as the sperm donor of my godchildren!» Swift wrote at the end of her post, referring to Reynolds' character Deadpool by his real name.
«Over the past few years, I have watched one of my best friends on the planet pour his heart, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness, and magic into this film», - she wrote. «He created the best work of his life, and this film feels like a real portal of joy, a wild escape from reality, and an absurd sandwich. I don’t know how he did it».
The singer of «Cruel Summer», who posted a note along with a photo with Blake, Ryan, Hugh Jackman, and director Shawn Levy, jokingly remarked, «But it’s just Hugh for you! These other random people crashed the photo, and we were too polite to ask them to leave».
Swift’s connection with the family is so strong that Reynolds recently joked with E! News that she is their nanny, albeit an expensive one.
