Taylor Swift may have finished the European leg of her Eras tour, but she definitely ended it with a bang. The 34-year-old singer performed at her final concert at Wembley Stadium in London on Tuesday, August 20, and surprised fans before leaving by debuting a music video for her song «I Can Do It With A Broken Heart» from the «Tortured Poets» section.
The music video, featuring lyrics like «I'm so depressed, it’s like every day is my birthday / I’m so obsessed with him, but he avoids me like the plague / I cry a lot, but I’m so productive, it’s an art / You know you’re good when you can even do it / With a broken heart», - was created backstage during the tour, adding to the excitement.
Surprises didn’t end on the eighth and final night in London. The artist of «Cruel Summer» invited special guests Jack Antonoff and Florence Welch for a joint performance of the songs «Getaway Car» and «Death by a Thousand Cuts», - as well as for the live debut of the song «Florida!!!».
Florence, 37, later expressed her gratitude on Instagram, sharing in her stories: «Thank you @taylorswift», - along with photos of their performance together.
Now that Taylor has completed the European chapter of her tour, she has left her mark in cities like Milan, Amsterdam, and Dublin. The Eras tour allowed fans around the world to experience every phase of her career, from Fearless to her most recent work.
Reflecting on the tour in October 2023, Taylor told Billboard: «I've always had fun doing this. I can’t believe I get to do music as a job. It’s insane. I’ve always had so much fun doing this. I’ve never had as much fun in my life as on the Eras tour. It’s definitely the most electric experience of my life».
