The story follows Miranda’s character, Don, a Texas native who enrolls in an art school in Paris, France. There’s just one problem: she needs money before she can say «Bon voyage!» to her family.
To earn money, she signs up for the dating reality show «Honeypot», which promises participants a chance to find love with its bachelor in Paris. But none of them realize that the production has tricked them, filming in Paris, Texas.
Don develops an unexpected connection with the show’s main character, Trey, and she must choose between pursuing her dream or following her heart.

Speaking exclusively to Hollywood Life before the film’s premiere, Madison discussed her character, Lexi, who will do whatever it takes to get Trey’s attention on «Honeypot» — even if it involves a mud fight with Don, a scene that, according to Madison, was «really fun» to work on with Miranda.
«Miranda and I both said it was one of our favorite days of shooting», - Madison told Hollywood Life, noting, «although it was definitely the dirtiest, for sure».
Lexi is a real two-faced villain, a stark contrast to Madison’s real personality. «She sounds so sweet when she talks, [like] she could get away with murder, but what she says is not very nice», - noted the Disney Channel star, adding that Lexi’s southern accent helped her get into character.
Believe it or not, Madison and Miranda — Disney Channel and Nickelodeon graduates respectively — had not crossed paths until they were cast in «Wrong Paris», but Madison «grew up watching» Miranda’s performances, such as in «Drake and Josh», she told Hollywood Life.
«I feel like she inspired a lot of my performances on Disney», - explained the star of «He's All That». «[Miranda] as Megan from 'Drake and Josh' is so iconic to me. She [played] the best evil little sister who torments her brothers. I kind of drew inspiration from that in [my role] in 'Cory in the House'»
