The photograph of Tiger Woods' arrest is now available to the public. Shortly after the 50-year-old golfer was released from the Martin County jail in Florida on Friday, March 27, his booking photo was made public.

Woods was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) earlier that same day, Martin County Sheriff John Budensik reported. The athlete showed «signs of intoxication» when DUI investigators arrived at the scene of the accident, Budensik noted.

«He underwent several tests… He was arrested and taken to the Martin County jail», - Budensik continued, adding that the «sluggish» Woods passed a breathalyzer test, showing «triple zeros», - and refused a drug test at the jail.

«He faces charges of DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test», - Budensik concluded.

Woods' arrest made headlines just hours after he was involved in a rollover accident around 2:00 PM Eastern Time on Jupiter Island, Florida. His vehicle was traveling at «high speed» and passed a pickup truck with a pressure washer trailer on a two-lane road with a speed limit of 30 miles per hour. Reports indicate that Woods' SUV swerved to avoid colliding with the trailer but ultimately struck its rear and flipped over, with the driver’s door ending up on the ground.

This is not the first time Woods has been involved in an accident or arrested for DUI. In February 2021, he sustained injuries in an accident near Los Angeles when his Genesis GV80 SUV rolled over multiple times. Authorities stated that there was no «evidence of intoxication» in the accident and noted that the incident was «purely an accident». Woods spent three weeks in the hospital and underwent several surgeries on his leg.

Later that same year, Woods reflected on the accident at the 2021 Hero World Challenge tournament in the Bahamas, stating that he was «lucky to be alive and have a limb».

Previously, in May 2017, Woods was found asleep in his car in Jupiter, Florida, which was parked on the road with the engine running. He was arrested on suspicion of DUI and later pleaded guilty to reckless driving.

Woods now has two DUI incidents on his record.
