Todd and Julie Chrisley face $ 1.5 million tax debt
Todd and Julie Chrisley, reality TV stars, are facing a tax debt of over $ 1.5 million. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) filed a tax lien for $ 1,571,452 on August 19, according to reports. The document, filed in Davidson County, Tennessee, lists two separate unpaid taxes for periods ending in December 2021 and December 2022, amounting to $ 142,410 and $ 1,429,041, respectively.

Todd and Julie have not yet commented on the lien situation. Us Weekly reached out for comments but did not receive a response. These tax issues arose more than a year after the couple received presidential pardons for charges of tax evasion, bank fraud, and wire fraud. Todd and Julie, who maintain their innocence, were convicted in 2022.

Two years after beginning their prison sentences, Todd and Julie were pardoned by President Donald Trump and released from incarceration. In July, Todd noted in his daughter Savannah’s podcast «Unlocked» that their relationship has become lighter and more fun since their release from prison. He emphasized that he now sees their marriage as something more individual than before.

Todd and Julie, married since 1996, are raising their daughter Savannah, as well as sons Chase and Grayson. The couple also adopted daughter Chloe, the biological daughter of Todd’s son Kyle from a previous relationship. Julie added that she wants to continue working on improving their relationships and being a better mother and grandmother.
