Todd Meadors tragically died aboard the vessel Aleutian Lady in the Bering Sea, as reported by Captain Rick Shelford. This young sailor, who became known for his participation in the reality show «Deadliest Catch», - passed away while performing his duties.

«We lost our brother, Todd Meadors», - Rick wrote in a Facebook post in March 2026. «Todd was the newest member of our team and quickly became part of the family. His love for fishing and hard work earned him the respect of everyone right away. His smile was infectious, and the sound of his laughter, coming from the wheelhouse or the deck, will stay with us forever».

In his post, Rick shared several photos of Todd and continued: «Todd's love for children, family, and life was evident in everything he did. He worked hard, loved sincerely, and brought joy to those around him. Right now, our hearts are broken in ways that words cannot express. We ask you to pray for Todd’s children and family and keep them in your thoughts as they face the upcoming days without him. Todd will forever be a part of this vessel, this team, and this brotherhood. Although we lost him too soon, his legacy will live on through his children and in every memory of him. Rest easy, brother, until we meet again».

He was a native of Washington state, according to information from Fox13 Seattle.
