Tom Daley is very talented in both diving and knitting. The Olympic diver, 30-year-old Tom, shared on social media a sweater he knitted while in Paris for the 2024 Olympics. On Wednesday, July 31, he posted a video of himself putting on the sweater and showing all the details.
«Hi, it’s Tom, and I wanted to show you the sweater I knitted while here in Paris», - he said. «Let me show you some details».
Tom started the video shirtless, showing off his muscles in jeans. He then put on a dark blue sweater and showcased all the details. «We have 'Paris 24' on the front with French and British flags at the bottom, and on the back — Daley», - he said. «On the sleeve we have TD, and on the other sleeve I have the number 5 for my 5th Olympics».
Although the weather is not ideal for wearing a sweater at the Olympics, it is certainly a nice souvenir to remember participating in the sporting event. «I chose the theme of red, white, and blue», - he said. «It has a comfortable fit. It’s too hot in Paris to wear this».
At the end, Tom explained that he enjoys knitting different things to keep memories of his times. «I thought I’d show you all the things I’ve made. It’s always so fun to have this as a little memory of my time here in Paris, but I think it’s cute! What do you think?» he said.
The video came after Tom won a silver medal in the synchronized 10-meter platform diving event. During the event, Tom’s two sons were in the stands wearing cute shirts with his face on them, watching alongside Tom’s husband Dustin Lance Black
