Tom Hardy is reportedly seeking a new role on television. Following the completion of filming for the second season of the series «Mobland», - the 48-year-old Oscar nominee has reportedly been fired due to ongoing conflicts with the creative team.

The report claims that the star of the series was consistently late to filming during the second season, often made comments about the script, and allegedly altered dialogues. Moreover, his behavior nearly caused producer Jez Butterworth to leave the project, and ultimately, Paramount fired Hardy.
Additionally, Puck reported that Hardy did not get along with the ensemble cast, which includes Hollywood veterans Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan.
This contradicts Hardy’s previous statements about his now-former colleagues. In an interview with Parade in April 2025, the «Survivor» actor praised his «wonderful» experience working with Helen, Pierce, and Paddy Considine.
«I have always admired Helen, and I have always appreciated Pierce’s work», - Hardy told the publication. «So the opportunity to watch them do what I believe they are brilliant at and to be part of that experience is fantastic.
