Tom Sandoval withdraws lawsuit against Ariana Madix: «I'm not going to sue»

Tom Sandoval, apparently deceived, sued his ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix. Three days after the lawsuit made headlines, the 40-year-old star of «Vanderpump Rules» posted a statement on her restored Instagram account, clarifying that he is «in no way suing» Ariana, 39.
«Early Tuesday morning my lawyer Matt Geragos, whose advice I trusted, called me about a cross-complaint in the lawsuit against me and Ariana», - Tom began his statement. «He assured me that this action is common and strictly precautionary in such types of legal proceedings and strongly insisted that I agree to it».
Clarifying that he was «not told the words 'new lawsuit' or 'filing a lawsuit'», Tom admitted that he «should have researched the matter more». The lead singer of Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras also noted that he fired his lawyer.
«Understanding what this action actually means, I removed Matt Geragos from my legal team», - he added, before clarifying: «I am in no way suing Ariana. The action against Ariana taken on my behalf is canceled. I harbor no ill will or revenge towards Ariana».
At the end of his statement, the Bravo star noted that he hopes to «get through this case quickly so Ariana and I can finally MOVE on with our lives».
On Tuesday, July 16, court documents from the lawsuit were discovered, in which Tom claimed that Ariana had access to his phone — including sexually explicit content from Rachel Leviss — without his «permission or consent».
Ariana’s lawyer, Jordan Susman, immediately responded to the lawsuit, according to a statement obtained by Us Weekly. Jordan called Tom’s accusations «disgusting» and claimed that he «continues to torment» the actress «By buying back my daughter».
«If he or his mistress had their way, it would be illegal for anyone to discover that his spouse or significant other is cheating», - the statement from Jordan read. «For Mr. Sandoval to go from begging Miss Madix for forgiveness to accusing her of his own transgressions speaks for itself. … Tom Sandoval knows full well the privileges he and Miss Madix shared regarding their personal communication devices».
In March 2023, Tom and Ariana ended their nearly decade-long relationship after she found out that Tom and Rachel, 29, were having an affair. The situation ignited on social media and became known as «Scandovál»
