Tom Welling accidentally caught the attention of his Instagram followers when he posted a photo taken from his hotel window in New York during Comic Con. The 49-year-old actor, known for his role in the series «Smallville», - captioned the shot «Hello, NYCC», - but his reflection in the photo turned out to be more revealing than he intended.
Fans quickly noticed this, but Welling deleted the story only after a few hours. Despite this, many fans pointed out that the reflection was blurry enough that not everyone could make out the details. Some even circled the most revealing parts of the image.
Welling didn’t seem to mind and humorously shared the reaction of his co-star Michael Rosenbaum, who posted a similar photo with his own reflection in his underwear and the caption: «Just taking care of my guy @tomwelling». Instead of showing something revealing, he offered a card that read «PERVS».
Tom Welling easily continued with his plans and appeared at Comic Con, where he participated in the panel «The Road to Superman: 25 Years of 'Smallville'» alongside Kristin Kreuk, Erica Durance, and Rosenbaum, discussing the series that made him a star. During the discussion, he recounted a story about how his co-star John Schneider approached him on set with a fake nude image created by a fan and asked, «Is that really you?» To which Welling replied, «Yes».
Tom Welling is not the only actor who has accidentally exposed himself in public; this list also includes Jonathan Bennett and Chris Evans.
