The year 2025 turned out to be quite challenging for television, but not in the most positive sense. The number of popular series that have been canceled is growing every week, not to mention the shocking deaths of characters from the remaining programs. CBS is one of the networks with the highest number of canceled shows this year, and one of the most disappointing was the cancellation of S.W.A.T.
Executive producer and showrunner Andrew Dettman called the cancellation of S.W.A.T «sad news», - according to Deadline. He called the actors and crew «an outstanding group of people who worked so hard and were so dedicated all eight seasons, overcoming countless obstacles».
