Greg Biffle, known for his career in NASCAR, has always been a family man. The 55-year-old driver is a father and husband; he married his second wife, Christina Grossu, after they welcomed their first child.
Unfortunately, in December 2025, it was reported that the Biffle family was involved in a plane crash in North Carolina. A Cessna C550 crashed at Statesville Airport on the morning of December 18, resulting in the deaths of six people, according to multiple sources. A friend of Greg’s stated that he, Christina, and their children perished in this tragedy.
«Unfortunately, I can confirm that Greg Biffle, his wife Christina, daughter Emma, and son Ryder were on that plane… because they were going to spend the day with us», - Garrett Mitchell wrote in a Facebook post following the news of the crash. «We are in complete shock. I am so sorry to report this».
Authorities have not yet confirmed the information regarding the deaths of Greg and his family. The FAA and NTSB are continuing their investigation into the crash.
