Greg Biffle and his wife Christina Grossu Biffle died in a plane crash on December 18, 2025. Greg’s children, Emma and Ryder, were also on board. Family friends confirmed their tragic deaths in heartbreaking statements.
«Unfortunately, I can confirm that Greg Biffle, his wife Christina, daughter Emma, and son Ryder were on that plane… because they were coming to meet us», - wrote Biffle’s friend Garrett Mitchell in a Facebook post that day. «We are utterly devastated. I am so sorry to share this news».
Representative Richard Hudson confirmed the news of Biffle’s death in a statement on X, noting that he was «devastated by the loss of Greg, Christina, and their children».
«They were friends who lived to help others», - Hudson continued. «Greg was a great NASCAR champion who delighted millions of fans. But he was also an extraordinary person and will be remembered for his help to others just as much as for his fearlessness on the track».
Regarding Christina, the congressman highlighted their humanitarian efforts. «The last time I spoke with Christina was just a couple of weeks ago; she reached out to me to see how she could help with humanitarian aid in Jamaica. That’s who the Biffles were», - Hudson added.
Greg was married twice. His first marriage to Nicole Lunders lasted from 2007 to 2016. They have a daughter, Emma, who was born in July 2011.
In his second marriage, Greg found love with Christina, a real estate agent and businesswoman, according to her Instagram account. The couple had been together for at least five years before their tragic passing.
Greg and Christina became parents to son Ryder in September 2020 and were married in January 2023.
As Congressman Hudson noted in his statement, Christina and Greg were passionate about humanitarian work
