Lynn Bane tragically passed away a month after a skiing accident in Aspen, Colorado. The late 51-year-old woman was known for her career as a jewelry designer, as well as her participation in reality shows, building a successful career in Hollywood. Now, as her life was tragically cut short, celebrities and fans alike mourn the loss of Lynn.

Below, Hollywood Life has gathered five facts about Lynn in her memory.

Lynn was known for her participation in the Bling Empire spin-off called Bling Empire: New York, a reality show on Netflix.

Celebrities knew Lynn as a jewelry designer. She worked with stars like Rihanna for their individual jewelry needs. Rihanna even honored Lynn’s memory in a post on her son Sebastian’s Instagram account, announcing Lynn’s death in January 2025.

«2025 is shaking me right now! It’s too much!!!» Rihanna wrote in the comment. «Lynn, you will always be our fairy godmother! Love you forever and ever! Can’t believe I’m writing this in a comment right now! Thank you for all the joy you brought us!»

Although Lynn spoke little about her personal life, she was a mother to her son Sebastian, who honored his mother’s memory after her death in a post on Instagram.

«My mom passed away on Monday», - Sebastian shared on Lynn’s Instagram page in January 2025. «I know she wanted to share her journey after the accident and brain surgery, so I thought she would appreciate the last post, informing those who supported her. Many of you followed my mom, but never had the chance to know her or meet her in person. I would like to take this opportunity to share who my mom really was. She was and will always be my best friend, the best mother to me, and a person who cared for everyone. She always had a smile on her face, even when times were tough during the recovery process. She was a fighter until the end and the strongest woman I know. She was the funniest and coolest mom I could ask for».

Lynn was married to her husband Jet Hain, who was also her business partner, according to the Los Angeles Times.

In December 2024, Lynn needed brain surgery after a skiing accident in Aspen, Colorado. She detailed the harrowing ordeal in an Instagram post at the time — a month before her death.

«And in an instant… life can change», - Lynn wrote next to a selfie from the hospital. «On a beautiful sunny day in Aspen on vacation with my family on the eve of Christmas, I had a skiing accident that changed my life. At the top of the mountain, I caught an edge and fell face first. Luckily, I always wear a helmet, and at the time it didn’t seem so bad, and I was able to ski down. Being cautious, I wanted to get a concussion check from the ski patrol. They checked me out, and I was released. I had a slight headache, but I thought after lunch everything would be fine, and I could ski again».

A paramedic told Lynn to go to the hospital for a CT scan, which, she said, «saved [her] life». After Lynn took a taxi with her husband, she was told she had a brain hemorrhage and «needed to be airlifted to a trauma hospital».

«The last thing I remember is being intubated, and I woke up after an emergency craniotomy with Jet by my side», - she recalled. «Ahead of me is a long road to recovery, but I am a survivor and grateful to the ski patrol, an incredible team of doctors and nurses, as well as the support of my family and friends. GOD IS GOOD. Grateful and blessed to see the new year»
