YouTuber Pretty Pastel Please, known as Alexandra, left more than 691 thousand subscribers puzzled by her sudden death, announced on Friday, July 5.
The blogger with 282 videos created content that, as stated in her YouTube biography, consisted of «fashion hauls, product reviews, thrift store trips, travel content», - including a «talking parrot». Her last video was a haul from Temu, where she bought items and did reviews.
In an Instagram post, where an image of Alexandra with the caption «In memory of her» was posted, it was noted: «Today we come to you with a heartbreaking announcement. With heavy hearts, we must inform you that Alex, known to many as Pretty Pastel Please, has passed away. Her departure was sudden, unexpected, and devastating to all who knew her».
They continued: «This is a shock to all of us, and her family and friends ask for privacy at this difficult time. We ask you to respect their wishes — they appreciate all your support, but they need time to heal in private».
The news shocked fans. One user commented under the post: «What a shock, I’ve been watching her since I was a teenager in school, this is one of the first content creator deaths that truly feels personal, although I can’t imagine the grief her loved ones are feeling. I’m so sorry».
