More than two years have passed since the death of Stephen 'tWitch' Boss. The late dancer was known for his choreography skills and DJ work on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Stephen, who passed away on December 13, 2022, shocked many with his sudden departure. Two years later, his wife, Allison Holker, remembered him in a touching Instagram post in December 2024, captioning it: «Our angel @sir_twitch_alot watches over us and protects us. You are always in our hearts, and we will always love you. We miss you, Stephen. 2 years without you, but you are always in our thoughts. We love you».
While tWitch is still remembered, more information about his death, especially regarding his health, has recently been revealed. To learn more, keep reading.
Stephen took his own life. Suicide ended his life.
tWitch was married to fellow dancer Allison Holker. The 36-year-old woman is a mother of three children — Wesley Fowler, whom she gave birth to from a previous relationship, and Maddox and Zaia, whom she shares with tWitch.
Allison confirmed that she has returned to dating when she shared a post on Instagram in August 2024, showing a shadow of her holding hands with a man. Her post was captioned with a red heart.
In an article published by People on January 7, 2025, Allison revealed that she found a «cornucopia» of drugs in her late husband’s room when she was trying to clean out his closet and find an outfit for his funeral. She shared with the publication: «It's hard to think that he never opened up to anyone and didn’t want to deal with it to move to the other side». Allison added: «I sincerely hope that people facing the same will help themselves get out of the shadow and understand that everything will be okay».
Additionally, she revealed that she found entries in her late husband’s diary hinting that he was sexually assaulted by a man in his childhood.
