Ben Savage

Ben Savage, 40, played the role of Cory Matthews for 7 seasons of the show. After Boy Meets World, Ben took a break from acting and attended Stanford University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science. He appeared in several guest roles on shows such as Bones, Without a Trace, and Chuck. He played young versions of characters played by Mandy Patinkin in The Mentalist and Homeland. Ben returned to the role of Cory in the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World, which ended in 2017 after 3 seasons. Ben married Tess Angermeier in 2023.

Danielle Fishel

Topanga Lawrence-Matthews is still as close and dear to our hearts as Danielle Fishel, 39. After Boy Meets World, Danielle delved more into hosting programs. She hosted The Dish for Style Network and Last Night on TV on MSN TV. She also served as a correspondent on Tyra Banks' show. She graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 2013. Danielle reprised her role as Topanga in Girl Meets World, alongside Ben and many other Boy Meets World stars. Danielle married Jensen Karp in 2018, and they have since had two sons — Adler Lawrence and Kit Joseph.

Rider Strong

Rider Strong, 40, played the beloved Shawn Hunter for all 7 seasons. After the show ended, Rider notably appeared in the 2002 horror film Cabin Fever. He also voiced the role of Brick Flagg in Kim Possible. He had many roles in movies and TV shows over the years, including guest appearances on Bones and Veronica Mars. He played Shawn in Girl Meets World and directed several episodes of the show. Rider graduated from Columbia University in 2004 with a degree in English and earned a master’s degree in 2009 from Bennington College. Rider married actress Alexandra Barreto in 2013. Their son Indigo was born in 2014.

Will Friedle

There is no TV character like Eric Matthews, and that’s thanks to Will Friedle, 44. Will became known for voice acting after Boy Meets World. He voiced the role of Ron Stoppable in the Disney Channel series Kim Possible, as well as Terry McGinnis/Batman in Batman Beyond, Deadpool in Spider-Man, and Star-Lord in the animated version of Guardians of the Galaxy. He returned to the role of Eric in 4 episodes of Girl Meets World. Will married his girlfriend Susan Martens in 2016.

Matthew Lawrence

Matthew Lawrence, 40, joined the cast of Boy Meets World in the fifth season and immediately became a fan favorite. After Boy Meets World, Matthew starred alongside Rachel McAdams in the 2002 film Hot Chick. He also starred with his brothers, Joey and Andy, in the 2001 TV movie Jumping Ship. He appeared in several movies and TV shows over the years. He even made a guest appearance on his brother Joey’s sitcom Melissa and Joey. Matthew appeared as Jack in one episode of Girl Meets World. He married DWTS professional dancer Cheryl Burke in 2019, but they divorced in 2022. He later started dating Rozonda «Chilli» Thomas.

Betsy Randle
