Travis Barker reported on having undergone hand surgery

Travis Barker, 50, announced that he underwent surgery during his hospitalization. The musician shared details of the procedure on Instagram Stories, posting two photos from the hospital.

The Blink-182 drummer explained that the surgery was necessary due to numbness in his arm, wrist, and fingers, which he experienced after a concert last month. He underwent a nerve test on Monday following the performance, and it was determined that he needed surgery to release the ulnar canal to correct the nerve. According to the Cleveland Clinic, the ulnar nerve helps hold objects and is involved in fine motor skills, as well as being responsible for the sensitivity of the hand and fingers.

Barker noted that he wanted to address the issue as soon as possible so he could continue performing as usual. He added that recovery should take a few weeks. In one of the posted images, he is seen with his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, wearing hospital attire and a hair net. Kourtney, dressed in black, took a selfie. Additionally, in previous photos, Travis shared moments with Kourtney and his daughter Alabama, 20.
