Travis Kelsey cried at Taylor Swift’s concert: romantic gesture or just tears?

If you didn’t cry at Taylor Swift’s show, did you really see Taylor Swift? Travis Kelsey seemed to wipe away a few tears during the surprise part of the performance. The 34-year-old Taylor performed a mashup of her debut song «Mary's Song», «Fifteen» (from the Fearless album) and «Everything Has Changed» from the «Red» album. Fans interpreted the romantic songs as a sweet message to Travis.
One fan captured a video of Travis watching the show from a VIP tent, and during the mashup, he seemed to be wiping tears away. He appeared to be singing along and at one point, when Taylor sang the chorus of «Everything Has Changed», he raised his hand and seemed to wipe his eyes. Although it’s hard to tell from the fan-shot video, the movement definitely looked like he started crying when his girlfriend performed the romantic medley.
The triple mashup was definitely a highlight of Taylor Swift’s performance in the Netherlands. After the Super Bowl winner seemed to wipe away tears, his teammate Patrick Mahomes' wife, Brittany, seemed to come over to comfort him. She seemed to say a few words to him during the performance.
When Taylor released the «Fearless» album, many fans speculated that the romantic ballad «Fifteen» was inspired by her romance with Travis. Furthermore, in «Mary's Song», there is a line «I'll be 87, you’ll be 89, and I’ll still look at you like the stars that shine in the sky». Since Travis' number is «87», fans pointed out a new meaning in this love song.
