Travis Kelsey explained how he stays «grounded» while in a relationship with pop star Taylor Swift on Good Morning America on Thursday, June 6. «When you have a good family and friends around you, it makes this aspect of life much easier… I have always been a very down-to-earth guy… Maybe it’s not always visible when I play football, but off the field I just want to be a genuine person», - shared the 34-year-old athlete.
During an interview with Will Reeve, the Super Bowl champion, who was dressed in black and white attire, opened up about life after a big victory. «I feel like I’m on top of the mountain, even after winning the Super Bowl and going through the offseason», - said Travis. «Living the dream, baby… I am so lucky and so grateful for everything that has come into my life».
Although the Kelsey brothers did not reveal many details about their relationship with Taylor, she did so in December when she graced the cover of her Time magazine, «I'm going to watch him do what he loves, [and] we support each other… We are just proud of each other», - she said at the time.
They confirmed their relationship in October 2023 when the main star of the Eras tour was spotted at a Kansas City Chiefs game. Despite speculation of a surprise engagement at the 2024 Super Bowl from the internet, Travis and Taylor are not engaged. However, many sources have reported that an engagement is inevitable.
Adding excitement to his life, Travis was able to showcase himself at the White House with his Kansas City Chiefs teammates. After the Secret Service warned him that if he approached the podium, he would be «allowed to use a taser», - he did not know that President Biden would call on him.
«I had no idea that President Biden would ask me to come up and give me the floor. And he goes right up to him, and the first thing he said was give me the floor.
