Travis Kelsey shared a romantic moment when he truly began to fall in love with Taylor Swift during a new interview on the podcast «Bussin' With the Boys» on Monday, June 24. The Super Bowl winner, 34-year-old Travis, recalled the first NFL game his pop star girlfriend, 34-year-old Taylor, attended when the Kansas City Chiefs played against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium in September 2023. Travis admitted that he «really started falling in love» with Taylor, seeing «how genuine she is with friends [and] family».
When the podcast hosts opened up about Taylor’s early visits to his games, Travis shared how he tried to prepare the singer in advance, but she turned out to be natural. «The first game she came to, against the Bears. I was like, 'Okay, I can introduce you to everybody.' And she just walked through the front door», - he said. «She just said, 'I just want to be with family and friends and experience this with everybody.' She scored a lot of points for that. I thought, 'Damn, she’s in this madness. She wants to support me and do these things.' She really won me over with that».
Earlier in the conversation, Travis admitted that adjusting to the superstar fame that comes with dating Taylor was difficult, but he also loves publicly admiring her. «You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything, you know? This is my girl. This is my lady», - he said. «So, I take pride in that. I’m not sitting here trying to manage, 'How am I going to keep this a secret?' You just don’t want to let everyone into your personal life and allow them to comment, knowing that everything she does becomes a headline».
While fans are used to seeing Taylor in Travis’s element during the NFL season, Swifties watched as the tight end supported her by attending many of her shows on the «Era» European tour. At Taylor’s very last concert at Wembley, Travis also made his debut on stage during the intro to the song «I Can Do It With a Broken Heart». After the show, the singer admitted she was so happy to see him by her side that she posted on Instagram: «Still laughing/admiring @killatrav's debut on the Era tour. Will never forget these shows»
