The scene that raised questions showed Swift, 34, rehearsing choreography for her Eras tour, with a blurry figure with a beard — possibly Kelsey, also 34 years old — sitting in the background in a white t-shirt at a table.

Another Swift fan joked: «I was looking for him throughout the entire video! LOL».

Later, Kelsey revealed that the surprise that caused a stir in the press was his idea.
«I thought, 'How fun would it be if I just rode out on one of the bikes during the '1989' era?'» the NFL star recalled on his podcast «New Heights» in July. «She started laughing and said, 'Are you seriously willing to do something like that?'»
«I was like… 'I've seen the show enough times. Maybe I should put in some work here'», - he continued. «She found the perfect part of the show to include me. It was like, the safest bet».
Although the three-time Super Bowl winner hinted at more cameos in his podcast — «Who knows, maybe it’s not the last time» — he remained in the audience during subsequent performances in Dublin and Amsterdam.
Kelsey has not attended the Eras tour since July, as the athlete returned to Kansas City to prepare for the 2024/2025 NFL season with the Chiefs. While Kelsey returned to the field, Swift continued her Eras tour overseas, with dates scheduled until August 20th
