Travis Kelsey «chose» this life with girlfriend Taylor Swift, he said in a pre-recorded interview on CBS Mornings. In the interview, which aired on Thursday, September 5, the 34-year-old football tight end opened up about the incredible attention he and the 34-year-old global pop icon receive — especially when it comes to their relationship.
«This is the life I chose, I think», - Travis said. «I like it. It comes with wanting to do fun events and sign cool sponsorship deals».
Since he and the hitmaker of «Karma» made their relationship public in September 2023, Travis and Taylor have become Hollywood’s most famous couple. Taylor has been seen on TV cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs player at his games, and Travis has been spotted by Swifties at several of her Eras tour shows.
Thanks to Travis' new relationship, he and his family have been in the spotlight over the past year. However, the athlete noted in his interview on CBS Mornings that Kelsey «loves it».
«Mom Kelsey is having so much fun», - he added, referring to Donna Kelsey. «I think my dad is slowly getting used to it, and Jason [Kelsey] has always been a pro at this».
While Taylor hasn’t spoken as much about her and Travis' relationship as he has — for example, on their podcast «New Heights» with Jason — she invited Travis on stage at one of her recent Eras tour shows this year. Additionally, the Grammy winner previously spoke to TIME about how they manage the attention together.
